That's my assumption. At the very least it seemed to have eliminated the bacteria necessary to have normal bowel movements.

This reminds of the time many moons ago when I took a whole garlic clove like a pill - with a meal - but I'd probably never eaten raw garlic before in my life! (A friend of mine swore by its health-giving properties.) That garlic clove carpet-bombed all the flora and fauna in my gut, and sadly, it took me a few days to figure out why I had such bad diarrhea. Fortunately I didn't feel bad otherwise, and when I figured out what happened, I got some probiotics and eventually got my gut buddies re-established. I am wary now of eating raw garlic, even if it is in food.

Hi Pam,

Probably because the term cayenne is popularly used to describe a broad range of peppers from the capsicum family, he doesn't make a distinction., but aren't habaneros from the same genus?

Either way, his stuff, like all his herbal products, is quite potent. :-)

I wasn't familiar with Dr. Schulze’s products, so I checked out his Cayenne tincture and powder ingredients ... only to discover that they include many varieties of Capsicum, from jalapeño to habanero*, but no cayenne! What's up with that?

*Herbal Ingredients: Dr. Schulze’s Special Blend Of Mexican Habanero, Jalapeño, African, Chinese, Thai, Korean & Japanese Peppers
